What is a white-label AI partner (and when an agency needs one)

Draft for review.
Your clients are asking about AI. You can say yes, learn a stack of new tools and build it yourself, or work with a white-label AI partner.
What a white-label AI partner is
A white-label AI partner designs, builds and runs AI services that you sell under your own brand. Your client sees your agency: your name, your reports, your support. The partner stays in the background.
That is different from a software platform, where you rent tools and do the configuring yourself, and from a freelancer, who builds one thing and moves on.
When an agency needs one
You probably do if several of these are true:
- Clients are asking what your AI offer is, and you don't have one.
- You tried a no-code demo, and it didn't survive real use.
- Your team is busy delivering existing work and can't absorb a new platform.
- You want recurring AI revenue, not one-off projects.
- You don't want to hire an AI engineer for a service you haven't sold yet.
When you don't
If you already have engineers who ship and run production AI, you may only need tools. If you'd rather build a capability yourself, a partner may be the wrong fit.
What to ask a potential partner
- Who owns the client relationship? It should be you.
- Whose branding appears on the deliverables? It should be yours.
- What happens when something breaks in production, and how fast do they respond?
- Who owns the build, and can you resell it to more clients?
- Are they under NDA by default?
Where to start
Start small: one client, one channel, one measurable problem. That is why we offer a Pilot before a monthly plan. You can see how the arrangement works, or book a call to talk it through.
